This bike is EXTREMELY comfortable & great fun to ride!A real head turner!American Ironhorse produced a number of different motorcycle models, their top-of-the-line flagship model was the Texas Chopper.
She is a real "HOT ROD" This bike has the very desirable (& very rare .. some say this package added 5k to the original cost which was $35-$40,000) chrome package. Not only did the chrome package include both front & read rims, but the triple trees and controls.
It took me about two years to locate a Texas Chopper with low mileage and this chrome package. But, as you can see, it really makes a huge difference. Magnificent custom ($3k metal-flake paint with western theme!)
In the last 3yrs or so, the following work was done: New tires installed & balanced New Progressive shocks installed.Starter motor re-built.High intensity LED headlight bulb installed.New fuel filter installed.Rear drive belt as well as primary chain adjusted.Every season the oil and oil filter are changed and it's running full synthetic. Also, every season the front primary oil is changed.
Every place this bike goes, crowds form and people ask to take pictures standing next to it. Even on the highway, kids video the bike when riding in the adjoining lane. The majority of local hot-rod shows that I enter this bike into I usually win best of show or best chopper!You've heard it before, but, it's very true w/this bike . . . pictures truly don't do this bike justice!
